What Does “IICRC Certified” Mean?

We often talk about our certifications here at Dry-N-Clean Carpet Cleaning, because we’re very proud of our educated, professional Virginia Beach cleaning technicians. We’ve been asked in the past what IICRC is and what it actually means.

IICRC stands for the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning & Restoration Certification. Their mission is to “promote an international standard of care that establishes and maintains the health, safety and welfare of the built environment”, as said on their website, IICRC.org. There are IICRC-approved courses that a cleaning technician must take in order to keep up with the latest cleaning methodologies and technologies. The technician must attend the full course, complete a written examination, and document skills in the specific category to become certified.

So, what does this have to do with our Dry-N-Clean Carpet Cleaning Virginia Beach technicians? Our cleaning technicians are IICRC certified. In fact, we won’t allow them out in the field if they’re not. We’re your #1 carpet cleaning company in Hampton Roads for a reason!

Our technicians are IICRC certified in Carpet Cleaning. This means that they have been taught the art and science of carpet cleaning, including “identifying fiber, yarn and carpet constructions, style types and finishes, soiling conditions, cleaning science and methodology, and other issues and concerns faced by individuals who maintain and clean installed broadloom carpet”, as written on the IICRC website.

You can trust Dry-N-Clean Carpet Cleaning with your residential or commercial carpet cleaning needs. We have the education, experience, and certification to get the job done right. Call Dry-N-Clean Carpet Cleaning today at 757-495-3626 to schedule your carpet cleaning!
